The Great Yorkshire Coast (Part 2)
Headed out to Scarborough / Bridlington with the D800 and a Nikon 35mm F2 and Voigtlander 58mm 1.4.
One image shows Marvels Amusement Park, which is located on top of a hill in Scarborough’s North Bay. It was serviced by 2 chair lifts, one from the North and one from the South.
Due to the increase in foreign holidays, the park was forced to close it’s doors in 2000. The site is mainly derelict apart from the remains of the chair lifts and their workings. Great memories from the 80’s/90’s!
