Japanese Tin Robots from the 1950s spontaneously appear in an English wood (D700/Voigtlander)
I enjoy photographing Artists! I’m particularly interested in photographing artists at work and seeing first hand the processes involved. Luckily a good friend of mine is Lee Gascoyne, a Yorkshire based artist – Painter – Sculptor. I love his encaustic 1950’s Robots. He explains the encaustic process here, which I saw first hand. More Images from our shoot can be found on Lee’s blog here. Lee’s official website is www.leegascoyne.com (lots of work and interesting posts). Contact me if you are an artist and would like a shoot. It certainly wont be formal and I hate white backgrounds!
